Chocolate Oat Milk

raw milkThis is a quick and delicious dessert. I sometimes substitute some of the dates for stevia, for a low-sugar option. This is an especially good idea if drinking it right before bed or for highly energetic kiddos. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 to 4 dates (without pits)
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup sprouted oats
  • 1 heaping tablespoon raw cacao

Blend (ideally in a high-speed blender) and enjoy! When not using a high-speed blender, it’s recommended to soak the dates in the water for at least 15 minutes before blending and do not discard the soak water.
